Kaprizov’s impressive play included an empty-netter with just 2:32 left, the Wild’s magnificence is carved in stone. This strategic move occurred when Arizona pulled their goalie, Karel Vejmelka, as the last resort attack to stage the comeback. Ryan Hartman and Marcus Foligno also scored for the Wild, with the latter being an empty one following the same strategy by Arizona to reverse the game.
Hartman’s power-play goal in the second period. The assist by Kaprizov was the game-changer for the Minnesota Wild, as they took a 2-1 lead. This goal was also Hartman’s second consecutive score and his 17th of the season. Hartman, who reflected back on the game, mentioned that the team’s defense was sound, they curtailed Arizona’s high-quality scoring chances.
The only goal for the Coyotes in the game was scored by Nick Bjugstad, who managed to tie the game in the second period. Vejmelka’s 27 saves were not enough to overcome the Wild’s impressive offensive. Coyotes forward Michael Carcone recognized that the team cannot depend entirely on the goaltender but rather on solid, consistent hockey performance.
Kaprizov scored the first goal of the game, his 32nd of the season. Also, that goal set the tone for a dominant performance by the Minnesota Wild. The left-circle goal showcased his skill to shoot in traffic and extended his point streak to five games, during which he scored six goals and three assists.

Wild coach John Hynes loved Kaprizov’s different style, calling him an elite player and a game-changer for the franchise. In his last 24 games, when Kaprizov scored 39 points, he was almost incomparable to the other players.
The Coyotes faced difficulty as Hayton couldn’t play because of a lower-body injury. Andre Tourigny, the coach, stated that Hayton’s injury is beyond the day-to-day and needs further tests.

The Coyotes will face the Detroit Red Wings on Thursday night. On the other hand, the Minnesota Wild will host the Anaheim Ducks on the same evening.
