The ECB’s plans for such changes are to complete them before England’s next white-ball series against Australia, scheduled to begin in September.

A charismatic tastemaker of his time, Flintoff has had lots of betting inclined in his favor due to his all-round performance. The big favorite for the position must be Sachin Tendulkar because of his prior exposure to international cricket and his previous successes. The other contender frequently associated with free-flowing batting and cool heads is Mike Hussey. His vast experience as well as his mastery of game tactics may be able to offer his team, the England team, the much-needed strategies.
