Belal Muhammad proved himself to the world by defeating the UFC Welterweight Champion, Leon Edwards in UFC 304. After being the champion of UFC, Muhammad dedicated the title to the Palestine and the people of Palestine because of the crisis that they are going through. Joe Rogan invited the champion on his Podcast and discussed different things, including his new title. Most importantly, Muhammad relayed his thoughts about the insult that he had received from a host of another show.

A host made a strange remark during the show which not only triggered Muhammad and Rogan but the whole MMA and UFC world. She stated that Muhammad is not a UFC champion at all but is only a street champion. One thing was obvious, the host had no idea of how big the UFC is. This left Muhammad, who is famously known as ‘Remember The Name,’ completely surprised and he told Rogan about this on his podcast.
“I did an interview with Chicago news, and the lady was like, she had no idea who I was. You’re the champion of street fighting, right?”
The 56-year-old podcaster looked surprised and worried because he didn’t expect someone from the USA to be unaware of the UFC. With a shocked expression, Rogan said, “You’re literally the world champion, and this person hasn’t even done 5 minutes of research on the sport you do.” It was shocking to find out that the media outlet had not employed an expert to conduct the interview. Muhammad talked about the situation by telling Rogan that they were just reading from the teleprompter.

Joe was in a good mood when Muhammad shut the mouths of the people who criticized him, through his performance. The current and undisputed UFC welterweight champion is training with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Islam Makhachev who are the masters of the mental game of MMA. He had been getting a lot of hate for his one-dimensional style of fight, which was largely based on wrestling and yet lacked striking. Although the odds were against him during the fight, Muhammad ensured he knocked down his opponent and beat him by a unanimous decision to show those who never believed in him that they were wrong.
