Joao Felix is one of the most well-respected footballers of his time, known for his creativity on the ball, great off-the-ball movement, goal-scoring abilities in tough games, and incredible 1v1 skills. He has truly shone during his time at Atletico Madrid but might be looking to move elsewhere for the 2024-2025 season.

Will he go to the Premier League, or will he go elsewhere? Tons of teams are putting their hats in the ring to see if they can nab this young and skillful winger.

Joao Felix Might go to the Premier League

Joao Felix is a Portuguese footballer who currently plays for Barcelona after being loaned from Real Madrid. He is a versatile player who can play as a winger, attacking midfielder, or central midfielder. During his time at Atletico Madrid since 2019, he went to Chelsea on loan, which was a poor loan spell with only 16 appearances and four goals, and to Barcelona, where he has made 30 appearances and found the back of the net seven times.

Despite having some injury struggles during his 2020-2021 season in La Liga, his loan to Barcelona FC has revamped his career and his energy. Joao Felix rehabbed from his ankle injury, came back stronger from his hamstring pull, and started 2022 on the right foot. He was awarded Atletico Madrid’s Player of the Season after finishing the season with an impressive ten goals and six assists for the club.

But, he might now be leaving Spain to try another country.

Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Manchester United are all on the cards to go for Joao Felix to add him to their squad list. He is a very serious target for all of these clubs who are after attacking-minded players to add more depth and scoring tendencies to their squad for the 2024-2025 Premier League season.

Previously, Arsenal was the only club with their eyes set on Joao Felix. Although Arsenal is currently going back and forth with Chelsea FC regarding Mudryk and a transfer fee, they are also keeping tabs on Felix to see if a swap can happen between the two footballing businesses.

But, Arsenal is not the only club now interested in this skillful winger. For just $20 million, Manchester United can also purchase the player – or swap a player-for-player trade with Barcelona/Atletico Madrid. United are looking to bolster their attacking line and rank higher in the table after a terrible season in the EPL.

Manchester United Trade for Joao Felix

Can you guess who Manchester United might trade?

The player who has been shunned from England and the EPL (rightly so) – Mason Greenwood. Greenwood, the young player who abused and assaulted his then-girlfriend, was somehow kept by the club. He has been playing in other countries since his return to football but hasn’t stepped foot back in Old Trafford for United.

Manchester United might look to swap Joao Felix for Mason Greenwood so the latter can head to the Spanish clubs. Other clubs, like Dortmund and Napoli, are also interested in purchasing the young player. It seems as though the clubs interested in Greenwood aren’t too concerned about the glaring character issues with the young man, and more so interested in whether he can score goals for their club.

United would do well to get rid of Greenwood and swap with Felix. Not only is Greenwood a liability on and off the pitch, but it doesn’t look good for Manchester United in a PR sense to keep him around.
