Laquon Treadwell was drafted 23rd overall in the 2016 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings. He was a standout in college with the Ole Miss Rebels, and many thought he would flourish in the NFL. That has not been the case. Treadwell has been on seven different franchises and has never surpassed 500 receiving yards in a season. 2021 was his best season with the Jacksonville Jaguars when he had 33 catches for 434 yards and a touchdown.
Injuries have been a huge part of his lack of production. He has only played in 11 games over the past two seasons. The Indianapolis Colts hope the veteran can help their young quarterback. Michael Pittman Jr., Alec Pierce, and rising star Josh Downs will likely take the top three spots on the depth chart. If Treadwell can be a solid depth piece and provide some veteran leadership, that could be just what this team needs. He may just be a body that they are bringing in for training camp but if he impresses, he could earn a roster spot.

The success of the Indianapolis Colts season depends on the health of Anthony Richardson. Their division has some winnable games. While the Houston Texans are tough, the Jaguars and Titans may not provide as much of a challenge.
