England’s Warwickshire County Cricket Club has now come forward to take full responsibility for the treatment of Pakistan’s fast bowler Hasan Ali’s elbow injury. The injury has occurred during the recent County Cricket season has affected the stability of his plays – he has to leave early.
Ali, a 30-year-old medium-fast bowler, was seriously injured on the elbow in July at the County Cricket season playing for Warwickshire. It also impacted his on-field performance as well as reduced his availability in the rest of the games. The pace bowler, well renowned for his pace and consistent line and length was severely hampered by the injury and was unable to perform to the best of his genetics.
The Return of Hassan Ali to Pakistan
Because of the extent of the injury, Hasan Ali had to shorten his tour of England and return home to Pakistan before the planned games were to commence. This put him in rather a vulnerable spot as he required specialized medical attention to aid in his recovery and get back into the same form as before the injury.
On his arrival in Pakistan, he is said to have sought help from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for his treatment. But as sources suggest after his treatment, the PCB ordered him to shift to Warwickshire. The PCB reminded that Hasan Ali had sustained the injury during the playing season with Warwickshire and as such it remained the latter’s duty to provide for the complete rehabilitation of the player.
According to some sources, the PCB stated,
The responsibility for treatment lies with Warwickshire since Hasan Ali was injured during county cricket. Hasan Ali had joined county cricket fully fit and healthy from the national team, so now it is the county’s responsibility to ensure his full recovery.

Once the treatment is complete, Hasan will return to Pakistan, hopefully fully recovered and ready to resume his cricketing career.
