Francis Ngannou Will Fight Renan Ferreira In October

Fancis Ngannou Vs Renan Ferreira

Francis Ngannou is going to face off against Renan Ferreira this fall. Ngannou had a long break, but now he is back in the game. Ngannou took one year off, and part of that was the tragic death of his 15-month-old son. There are questions about his mental condition after this traumatic event. Will he be able to train and fight properly or not? All these questions will be answered on October 19th.

Renan Ferreira is this season’s heavyweight champion of the PFL. If we look into Renan’s previous fight, he completely dominated and knocked out Ryan Bader in February. Francis Ngannou is a great fighter and has a lot of achievements, but Renan Ferreir is a different animal. If we compare both fighters, Renan has been actively fighting for a long time and Ngannou has not, which might be trouble for Francis Ngannou if he doesn’t train properly.

Challenging Heavyweight Brazilian

Francis Ngannou Challenging Renan Ferreira

Renan Ferreira is a beast, and challenging this guy is a big deal as he is the greatest player in PFL Heavyweight. But on the other side, we have our Francis Ngannou, who has crushed a lot of great champions in the UFC. So it is a fair match: a beast vs. a beast. Ngannou is 124 kilograms and has experience in boxing and UFC. Because of his vast experience in all three fields, he knows how to utilize grappling and where to strike. Those skills make it challenging for Ferreira.

Considering Ferreira an easy opponent would be a foolish decision. He already dominated the previous heavyweight champion last year. Denis Goltsov lost to this beast last year in the heavyweight PFL. Goltsov earned the title shot by defeating Ryan Bader in a few seconds, just a few months before he lost the title. After these great clashes, Renan Ferreira is still holding the title of heavyweight champion.

Great Battle of Champions

People are going to witness one of the greatest fights of all time in the PFL. Fans are also eager to watch this fight live. The CEO of PFL, Peter Murray, is also excited to see Ngannou and the champion fight in the Octagon.

“MMA fans around the world will witness a true battle of the greatest fighters on the planet competing for the PFL Super Fights Championship belts,” Peter Murray said.

Ferreira has an impressive 13 wins and 3 losses during his time in the PFL. However, being 6-foot-8 and 34 years old makes it difficult for anyone. Ngannou is 6-foot-4 and weighs 124 kg, which would make him a tough challenger. What do you think about the upcoming legendary fight? Let us know in the comment section.
