Francis Ngannou will soon make a massive comeback in MMA. PFL is going to host this incredible fight featuring Francis Ngannou. Naturally his coach Eric Nicksick supports Francis in every situation. He told the media that he always knew Francis was going to come back to MMA because this is where he started, and of course, this is the place where he won his fame.
After a disagreement with MMA, he went into boxing and showed his pugilistic skills to fans. Recently, Francis Ngannou’s son, “Kobe,” passed away when he was only 15 months old. It was an extremely hard moment for Ngannou to get through, but it seems like he’s now recovering from it mentally. Throughout this difficult journey, his coach has continued to respect and support Francis Ngannou, showing a strong bond between fighter and coach.
Coaches Cry Happily
Ngannou noticed all the hard work one of his other coaches, Pettit, had been putting in. He called Pettit and gave him a big check that made the coach cry. Though the exact amount wasn’t shared, Eric Nicksick was speechless as he praised Pettit: “Nate’s just one of the hardest workers you’re gonna see in the room… Like the guy’s just constantly holding pads for people, constantly on the road, he’s a dog… Doesn’t have a family, doesn’t have a life—his life is this gym.”
Nicksick explained that Pettit had trained Francis Ngannou for a long time. Due to Pettit’s training, Ngannou was able to unlock new abilities. As a result of his team’s hard work and dedication, he eventually won the heavyweight title. In particular, Pettit’s coaching played a key role in helping Ngannou achieve a powerful knockout win against Ciryl Gane for the championship.
Hard Knocks for Francis Ngannou
We know that Francis Ngannou left UFC because of problems with the agreement he was offered. He also wasn’t working with Dana White anymore. But things changed for Francis Ngannou since he left Dana White’s promotional circle. Although he joined the PFL and tried his hand at boxing, things didn’t go according to his plans. He didn’t beat either Tyson Fury or Anthony Joshua. Those bouts were big disappointments for the MMA knockout artist. But now, putting those tough times behind him, Ngannou is ready to make his comeback in MMA.
Francis Ngannou is scheduled to fight on October 19 against the current 2023 heavyweight tournament champion Renan Ferreira in PFL. At the moment, Ngannou is coming off a two-year break and the Cameroonian fighter is more than ready to make his comeback. He had gone on a leave of absence after the terrible death of his baby son, which left him emotionally shaken and in no condition for battle. Now, fans would like to see the powerful Francis Ngannou again, returning to the devastating form he had when he left the UFC octagon.
