WWE NXT Heatwave as just wrapped up and the main event was a Fatal 4-Way for the NXT Championship between the NXT Champion Trick Williams, Ethan Page, Shawn Spears and Je’Von Evans. Williams did not have to be pinned to lose his title and that is what happened as Williams hit Evans with a Trick Shot and that hit Spears out of the ring as well. Spears would grab Williams as “All Ego” Ethan Page got the pin on Evans to become the new NXT Champion.
The match was had a lot of spots but after just four matches in NXT, Ethan Page has won the top crown. This was Page’s second attempt to win the NXT Championship as he was defeated by Trick Williams at WWE NXT Battleground last month. It will be interesting to see how Ethan Page does as the new NXT Champion and what the story becomes out of this.
Who will Ethan Page face at The Great American Bash for the NXT Championship?

WWE NXT has a few contenders for “All Ego” Ethan Page and the brand announced that The Great Amercian Bash will take place on August 6 as their next big show. The big question will be who will be in the ring competing against the new NXT Champion.
The obvious answer is to have another rematch between Page and Trick Williams but there could be some other options that can happen. While Trick Williams is the likely option, maybe taking a trip into the forbidden door could be fun.
TNA Wrestling has a star in Joe Hendry, who is encapsulating a lot of publicity on social media and had his entrance song chart in multiple countries. With a blink and you missed it vignette for him on NXT Heatwave, he can also be another wrestler that challenges for the top prize on Tuesday nights.
It will be interesting to see what the creative team has in store but it appears there can be a multitude of challengers. There can also be Shawn Spears and Je’Von Evans, the other two wrestlers in the main event, that can make for a good challenge.
