Florida Panthers and Scripps Sports Are The New On-Air Broadcast

Last season, Bally Sports Florida was the home of the Florida Panthers. Now this season, Scripps Sports has a contract with the Florida Panthers. This will enable viewers from all over Florida to watch Florida Panthers games next season. The broadcast will cover the Broward, Miami, West Palm Beach, and Fort Myers. The Panthers will also have a streaming app directly available to customers for the 2024-2025 season.

The Stanley Cup champions will be on Scripps Sports this season hosting all regular season games, an all-new weekly “Primetime Panthers” show, and Scripps will host all four Panther preseason games. During the regular season game coverage, there will be 30-minute pregame and postgame coverages.

The Florida Panthers will also have 12 nationally televised games this year between ABC, ESPN, and TNT broadcasts. The other 70 games and the first round of the playoffs will be on Scripps Sports WSFL Channel 39 which will be the home of the Panthers this season for Miami Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and the Treasure Coast. For the Fort Myers area, WFTX channel 36.3 will be available for views on the West Coast of Florida.

The Primetime Panthers show will be broadcast every Wednesday during the season showing highlights, features, and community stories. The same crew that hosted Bally’s Sports will be on Scripps Sports. Steve Goldstein on play-by-play, Randy Moller as color analyst, and Katie Engleson as rinkside reporter.  Jessica Blaylock will host intermission coverage as well as the pregame and postgame shows alongside analyst and Panthers alumni Ed Jovanovski.

Steve Goldstein has been the voice of the Panthers for the past 18 seasons. Goldstein has made a home for South Florida sports and the fans adore him. Goldstein won the 2019 NSMA Sportscaster of the Year and received the 2022 Emmy Award for NHL play-by-play.

Moller enters his sixth season as color analyst for the Panthers. He has been a member of Florida’s broadcast team for the last 28 years, serving in a variety of capacities including radio analyst and television host. Moller is known for his corky jokes and phrases when he is alongside Goldstein commentating on games. Moller brings life and humor into the game. He played 13 seasons in the NHL playing for the New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres, and finishing his career with the Florida Panthers.

Katie Engleson, was a reporter for  Bally Sports Southwest reporting for the Dallas Mavericks, New Orleans Pelicans, and Texas Rangers, earning three Emmy nominations.  Engleson will enter her third season covering rink side with the Florida Panthers.

Blaylock will enter her 10th season covering the Panthers. She also works as the in-game reporter for Miami Marlins television broadcasts. Blaylock has served in various roles for ESPN and FOX Sports Florida/Bally Sports Florida.
