Everton Gets Sensational Jesper Lindstrom on Loan From Napoli

Everton has succeeded in bringing Jesper Lindstrom over from Napoli. The football club signed the 24-year-old on a £2.5 million loan spanning the season. If Lindstrom performs as well as or even better than Everton expects from him, he might be able to become a permanent member of the team next summer with a £18.6 million option.

Napoli’s Jesper Lindstrom Heads Over To Everton On Loan

Everton signed Jesper Lindstrom after what some call a successful campaign in Italy. He is the Toffees’ fifth signing in this summer window, after Jack Harrison, Iliman Ndiaye, Omari Benjamin, and Tim Iroegbunam. Everton is still looking to sign more players and bolster the team’s positions before the end of the summer transfer window. Jesper Lindstrom announced earlier that he had discussed his new career with Everton with the club’s manager. He mentioned that he could be a perfect fit for Everton due to his speed and agility on the soccer field. Jesper intends to win the trust of his new coach and teammates, proving that Everton made the right choice with him.

I’m a fast player with good technique and good shots, so I think I can add speed to the counter-attacks and play in several positions – as a No 10, as a winger. I like to score goals, provide assists, and create chances. I hope I can do that here – I know I can do that here. I know how the team plays and have some very good teammates. I am ready to give everything.” – Jesper Lindstrom comments on his new career with Everton.

The Danish native is eager and ‘100% ready’ to play for Everton. Lindstrom has made it clear that he can’t wait till the pre-season is over and play football again. The Toffees will go against Salford City on July 27 at the Peninsula Stadium. After surviving and staying in the Premier League last season despite a points deduction, the club needs to add more weaponry to its squad. This is the only way they can stay in the top flight.

Jesper Lindstrom’s Professional Career In A Nutshell

Jesper Lindstrom was born on February 29, 2000, in a city in Denmark called Taastrup. He grew up and spent his teenage years training to become a professional football. The Dane broke his record with the club in the 2020/21 season as he was involved in 18 goals in 22 league appearances. That season, Brondby went on to win the league championship.

After performing exceptionally with Brøndby IF, Lindstrom transferred to Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2021. He made 16 appearances, including their three games at the 2022 Fifa World Cup hosted in Qatar. The next phase of Lindstrom’s professional career was with Napoli.
