The Manchester United coach reportedly said no to a million-dollar proposal from a French team. Ten Hag is not willing to negotiate with the player and guarantees that he is a fundamental piece for the future of the red club from Manchester.
Manchester United Have a Plan
Occupying sixth place in the English championship, Manchester United has not yet managed to show improvement. The team has had ups and downs over previous seasons and many off-field controversies, which make it even more difficult.
In general, we can classify the Red Devils’ current season as a bit troubled and catastrophic. Even though the team is not afraid of reaching the last positions, the early eliminations in the UEFA Champions League and English cups cost the planning, tranquility, and patience of its fans.
Having a contract until the middle of next year, Erik Ten Hag says he is not worried and trusts in the team’s potential to achieve better results. Therefore, it is expected that the coach will not only finish this season but also sign a renewal contract, thus guaranteeing a few more seasons in charge.
Rashford: An Eternal Promise
Marcus Rashford arrived at Manchester United’s professional team as a great promise in English football. Because he played for one of the biggest clubs in England and obviously because he was English, he soon gained space among those called up for his national team.
With the Manchester United shirt, there are 393 official matches and 130 goals. He was instrumental alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovi? in winning the Europa League in the 16/17 season. And he was the Europa League’s top scorer last season, despite the team’s low performance.
PSG’s Interest
With Mbappe leaving for Real Madrid, the strong French club seems to want to replace at any cost. Rashford would have been sought out by the French to fill exactly this vacancy.
PSG is still alive in the Champions League and Mbappe is still looking to help the club win the competition’s long-awaited cup, which would be the first in the club’s history. However, this is no reason for the Paris team not to think about next season. The search for important replacement parts has already begun.
However, it is speculated that a proposal is being prepared to take Rashford out of England. Something around 75 million euros (approximately 82 million dollars), would be the amount prepared.
Marcus Stays In Manchester
Rashford has scored just seven Premier League goals this season, 10 fewer than he managed in his impressive 2022/23 campaign. However, with goals in each of his last two matches, United fans will be hoping to see Rashford score again on Sunday when United host Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
“We didn’t renew last season for another four years to sell him. No. He should be part of this project. It’s not a subject we talk about.”, said Ten Hag.
With this speech, the Dutch coach assured Rashford’s future and guaranteed that the player is still part of the squad’s plans for the coming seasons.

The player will remain at the moment and must fulfill his contract until at least 2028, obviously if there is no renewal proposal. This coming weekend, Manchester United will face Liverpool in the FA Cup. The good news is the announcement of the return of some injured players.
United’s options could also be strengthened with the return of Rasmus Hojlund. The Danish player has been absent for the last four games with a muscle injury, but Ten Hag said Hojlund, along with Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Mason Mount, are back in full training.
