Real Madrid finally signs 18-year-old Endrick Felipe Moreira de Sousa. He arrived in Madrid for his medical review and signed his 6-year contract with President Florentino Perez. The ceremony took place at Santiago Bernabeu, where they presented him with a replica of the stadium, a watch, and his new jersey with his name and No. 16.
According to a report shared by Spanish Media, The Whites signed Endrick for an initial fee of 34 million Euros ($38 million) and agreed to pay an additional 25 million euros as add-ons. The young Brazilian national team player was playing for Sau Paulo’s team; Palmeiras. It was while he was at that team that Real Madrid saw him and agreed upon a deal when he was just 16 years old.

Emotions overwhelmed the new Los Blancos player when he wore the famous all-white jersey. He shared how his childhood dream of playing for Los Blancos was now a reality.
He said,
I hadn’t planned to cry, but I’ve loved Real Madrid since I was little because there was someone who came into my life: Cristiano Ronaldo. It was because of him that I became interested in Real Madrid. I looked up all the idols a long time ago, including [Emilio] Butragueno. I’ve always been in love with Real Madrid. Playing for Real Madrid is amazing and crying has come from my soul. I hope we can make history together.
Many people are Real Madrid fans, however, the young striker surpasses them all. He has vowed that he is in the club to stay.
As I said, I have been in love with Real Madrid since I was little and I want to be here. It was my dream and I didn’t care about anything else. I asked my father if Real Madrid were in negotiations and I told him that I didn’t care about any other team. I hope to spend my entire career at Real Madrid.”
Immediately the young player signed his six-year contract, and his No.16 jersey also went live on the team’s website.
