Jacob Fatu is a member of the Anoa’i family and a highly-respected wrestler in his own right. He is the son of the Tonga Kid, which makes him the nephew of Rikishi and the older cousin of Solo Sikoa. Solo Sikoa has been taking over on SmackDown in recent weeks.

Before this debut, Fatu wrestled for MLW on the independent scene, where he was able to make a name for himself. He is a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion, a title which he held for 819 days. Fatu is a dominating force who uses his size and power to his advantage.

Fans have been speculating and asking in recent months for the WWE debut of Jacob Fatu, specifically for him to join The Bloodline. Now joining other faction members on the big stage, it will allow for Fatu to showcase his talents to the entire world. He likely will see success in the future.

Fatu’s debut was in the last segment of the latest Friday Night SmackDown, after a match between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa was called off. The match was called off because both Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa interfered just minutes after the match started.

After a beatdown on Rhodes, Randy Orton’s music played as he and Kevin Owens headed towards the ring to save the Undisputed WWE Champion. After the Tongans were taken care of, Solo Sikoa was cornered by the three men. But a major force entered the ring to save the new “Tribal Chief.” Jacob Fatu hit both Orton and Rhodes with a superkick, then hit a clothesline on Kevin Owens.

Fatu then picked up Owens on the outside and brought him to the barricade. He then dropped Owens onto the steel steps with a Samoan Drop. After that, he ran to the other side of the ring and speared Orton through the barricade near the announce table. SmackDown ended with Fatu putting Rhodes onto the announce table. He then went to the top rope, leaping off in a frog splash that landed right on “The American Nightmare.”

After a dominating debut like this, it’s clear that Jacob Fatu is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
