The Lions move to 3-1 on the season after giving Seattle their first game of the season also moving to 3-1. When it was all said and done, the Lions won 42-29 going into their bye week.
Detroit Lions Quarterback Throws “Perfect Game”
With the Detroit Tigers making the playoffs for the first time in 10 years, Detroit Lions’ Quarterback, Jared Goff decided to throw a “Perfect Game!” Monday Night Football resulted in a big NFC win for the Detroit Lions defeating the undefeated Seattle Seahawks. Jared Goff showed up and balled out Monday going 18 for 18 with a 100% completion percentage. Goff also added 292 yards through the air with 2 touchdowns.
Jared Goff would have set an NFL record for completion percentage in a single game if the quarterback had completed 2 more passes. The record requires 20 minimum attempts so Goff was close to history. Goff has been off to a slow start this season. Week 4 against the Seahawks was definitely his best game of the season. By the way, not to mention Goff had a 7-yard touchdown reception. Yes, that was a touchdown RECEPTION! It was thrown by wide receiver, Amon-ra St. Brown.

Amon-ra St.Brown is continuing to prove he is one of the best wide receivers in the league. St. Brown added 6 catches for 40 yards and a touchdown. Plus he was part of, what could have been the best play of the young season!
Amon-ra came around for a reverse and threw a beautiful pass to quarterback, Jared Goff. Jameson Williams was electric with a 70-yard touchdown reception. Seth Rogen’s character in “Superbad” would have said, “He’s the fastest kid alive!” Jared Goff found Sam Laporta 4 times for 53 yards.
The Detroit Lions fans and football fans are witnessing the greatness of the best running-back duo in the league! Yes, it was said! The duo of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs are taking defense by storms. The Detroit Lions running backs combined for 118 yards and 3 touchdowns. The diverse styles behind arguably the league’s best offensive line have been pounding their way to the end zone this season.
Former Michigan State standout running back, Kenneth Walker of the Seattle Seahawks had one heck of a “Welcome Home.” The former Spartan had 80 yards on the ground with 3 touchdowns in his homecoming. Walker was questionable earlier in the week. His presence and game kept the undefeated Seahawks close for most of the game.
