Dave Batista, who has left a great impact with his wrestling career has categorically said that he enjoys wrestling but has fully dedicated himself to ensuring he does not spoil a good fairytale ending. Promoting New Projects and Wrestling Memories
Presently, the 55-year-old Dave Batista is busy promoting his latest film, The Killer’s Game due to be released in the theaters on September 13. Dave Batista talks of his advance from wrestling to acting in an interview he had recently with Chris Van Vliet alongside fellow actress, Sofia Boutella. There was no way this topic would not come up since he is an ex-wrestler These are the highlights of my interview with the man, he said;
I did, I just didn’t tell anybody else because I didn’t want it to be a big ordeal. I didn’t want to go out and do the tour and give a speech. I wanted to have my match and I wanted to call it a career so I wanted to go out on my own terms, Batista explained.

On the positive side, he still has some memorable moments and once in a while sees himself wrestling but in his own words, there is no way he will ever get back to wrestling because it is against his best laid-down retirement plan. He also said that he did not anticipate entering the WWE Hall of Fame any time soon, he stated;
Eventually, I will. I want to and there was a good opportunity for me to go in a couple of years ago, he shared. Hunter asked me to do it. It was here in LA and I thought it was storybook because I won my first title here in LA. However, we just couldn’t figure it out. I was working on a film in South Africa, so logistically, it didn’t work out. But I’m still open to it and one day I would like to.
Dave Batista’s reflections on his career and plans illustrate his deep respect for wrestling and his desire to honor his legacy on his terms.
In Conclusion
Even during this interview Dave Batista continuously references wrestling and his work to maintain the great ending he has wanted. Even though he has left wrestling and fan association he is adamant not to have a phase of grand retirement fights like others.
He is now pursuing a full-fledged acting career and his next roles include The Killer’s Game but he is always willing to be part of the WWE Hall of Fame. His contemplation of retirement, and continued acting career highlights his respect for what he achieved in wrestling and his readiness to diversify on career.
