Darby Allin

Much to everyone’s surprise, Darby Allin has now solidified himself for a much-coveted AEW World Championship match after coming out victorious in the Royal Rampage battle-royal. This win aired on the latest AEW Rampage episode, and Allin will get a shot at the championship at the Dynamite Grand Slam event set for September 25th. Darby Allin’s purse has put up AEW for a championship bout that fans have long been looking forward to, increasing the hype for some of the traditional big-name wrestling events.

Taking into context the unpredictability and the fierce fighting of the Royal Rampage battle royal, the match yet again turned out to be an entertaining one. The journey of accomplishment was filled with technique and spectacular moments in Darby Allin’s case. The last fight saw Darby Allin go head-to-head with Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club, who is a stern physical specimen of wrestling and versatile in the ring. The positioning by Allin of enduring Castagnoli till he was expelled depicted feats of invincibility.

This win is even more important as it is Darby Allin’s second win in a row in the Royal Rampage series. His first success in the 2023 version helped him obtain an opportunity to compete for the TNT Championship during the All Out Fans’ show, where he proved that he is capable of performing at the level of stakes.

The first ever Royal Rampage took place in February 2022, in which King was knocked out of the ring, giving him an opportunity for the Interim AEW World Championship that was at the time held by Jon Moxley. Several factors can be identified in Darby Allin’s back-to-back wins; these are part of the visibility and stature Darby Allin is gaining within AEW and make him adapt to and survive the fully packed and escalating wrestling business.

Regarding the given event, there’s still no trace of the championship fight while Darby Allin is celebrating his Royal Rampage triumph. Currently, AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland is confirmed to be taking on Bryan Danielson, the winner of the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation tournament at All-In next month. This match is expected to be a pivotal moment in AEW’s calendar, as it will determine the next challenger for the World Championship.

Strickland, who is characterized by his energetic demeanor inside the squared circle and skills, will be in for a damned match against Danielson, whose wrestling skills and tenacity make him quite a rival. The result of this match, as well as the Darby Allin match that is to follow, will make for a fantastic spectacle for all lovers of wrestling entertainment.

The Final Four: Fierce Conflict and Plot Episodes of Surprise

Darby Allin and Castagnoli fought in the Royal Rampage match, where Brian Cage was one of the standout performers, along with Jeff Jarrett, before coming into the final part of the game. The base competition of the match seemed to go to a new level as fighters reduced to four fought for the trophy. While it was still a long shot for Cage, his elimination by Castagnoli put a stopper on the end game and bowling show.

Another emotional event was the elimination of Jeff Jarrett because of the intervention by Hangman Page. This added an extra dramatic side to the match, something that seems to be very typical within the professional wrestling business and the influence of the external environment in high-profile showdowns.
