The 2023-2024 season of the Premier League in English Football is shaping up to be one of the best in history. It is coming down to the wire, with Liverpool, Arsenal FC, and Manchester City all within striking distance of first place. Liverpool is hanging on by a thread, with Arsenal close behind by only two points. However, not all watchers are convinced of Arsenal’s charge for first – especially ex-Red, Danny Murphy.
Pundits and commentators have noted the toughness of Arsenal’s schedule in their last three games. Can Arsenal win the title race, or will their unfortunate draw see them fail to claim a trophy?

Mikel Arteta, the Arsenal FC manager, has struggled during his time in charge of the Gunners. He came in as a young coach, and former player, who tried to rebuild a dismantled team. His ups and downs throughout his time as manager have finally seen him consistently in the top three this year. But, his fairy tale season might have to wait.
Despite promising results, including 72 goals for and only 24 goals against, their last three matches are very tough. A recent win against Luton Town and Brentford is promising for the Gunners. However, a draw against Manchester City wasn’t the best result for the second-place team.
Arteta is going to have to put his best lineup forward. Key players for the Arsenal FC squad this year include Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegard, Declan Rice, Martinelli, David Raya, and Emile Smith Rowe.

Danny Murphy Doesn’t Think A Win Is Possible
Former Liverpool player, Danny Murphy, has claimed Arsenal has no chance of winning the Premier League with their schedule. According to the ex-Reds player, Arsenal needs to win against Tottenham Hotspurs, Manchester United, and Brighton to even dream about first place. Away matches at Tottenham, United, and Brighton bring unruly fans, tough travel days, and pressure on the Gunners.
I wanted Arsenal to win it last year. It’s not that I don’t admire Man City…but we need that competition in the Premier League and this is turning into a real ding-dong.
We couldn’t have said it any better ourselves.
The 2023-2024 Premier League season is a real nail-biter. Liverpool ended their run with matches vs. Crystal Palace, Manchester United, and a Europa League match vs. Atalanta. Manchester City has to win against Luton Town and Brighton if they have any chance of staying in the top three.
