Daniel Levy, Tottenham Chairman, is eyeing a high-quality striker to replace Harry Kane, the former Tottenham striker. Harry Kane was sold to Bayern Munich last summer. Although Tottenham has several good strikers, Daniel Levy wants Kane’s quality in the squad. Richarlison, the former Everton striker, was signed by Tottenham to replace the striker; however, the striker hasn’t been captivating Levy’s eye. Tottenham are eyeing Ivan Toney of Brentford and Joshua Zirkee of Bologna.
Who Will Replace Harry Kane at Tottenham?
Spurs had an impressive performance this season and are currently in the fifth position, as they are eyeing the fourth position to qualify for the Uefa Champions League. However, Tottenham is eyeing a new center-forward despite having several options in the squad. Harry Kane, the current Bayern striker and former Tottenham skipper, has yet to be replaced since he left Tottenham.
Tottenham has focused on several strikers in the Premier League and Bundesliga. In the Premier League, Ivan Toney is the first choice, while in the Bundesliga, Joshua Zirkee is the first choice. However, the Spur’s interest in Zirkee has decreased due to unknown reasons. Nevertheless, Tottenham isn’t the only team eyeing the striker; AC Milan is also on the front line to sign the Dutchman.
Despite Son Hurng-Min, Richardson, Kulevenski, and Madison’s effects on Tottenham, Harry Kane’s performance is still missing from the team. Daniel Levy thinks Ivan Toney might be a good fit for the position. The Bees striker, who was recently called out to the England national team, has shown impressive performances that have captured both Arsenal’s and Tottenham’s eyes.

Ivan returned to football in January after a suspension and joined Brentford. The Brentford striker has appeared in 10 matches, scoring 4 goals for Brentford in the 23\24 season. Daniel Levy has advanced to talk to the striker about joining Tottenham. Thomas Frank, Brentford’s coach, added that it’s pretty clear that the striker might leave this summer. “We also know what he is worth. I don’t think many strikers in the world are better than him right now. He is a skilled striker who is in his prime football age.” Concluded Frank.
Joshua Zirkee, on the other hand, fits perfectly at Tottenham. Though several Premier League clubs are showing interest, Tottenham is at the top. Although Tottenham is doing better in the league, there is a missing piece that Zirkee might bring to the table.
