Dana White has shown his anger towards Merab Dvalishvili, because of his posts on social media. Dvalishvili is going to fight Sean O’Malley in UFC 306 in the Bantamweight Division. Dvalishvili has fought 21 fights but lost 4 of them and dominated 17 of them while on the side Sean has only lost 1 fight in a total of 19 fights and dominated 18 of them.
This shows that O’Malley is going to be a tough challenge for Dvalishvili in the Octagon. After a long time, Dvalishvili got the opportunity to fight against Sean O’Malley and be the No. 1 challenger for the title. But he is putting his title shot at risk by posting his videos of injury and making the CEO of UFC Dana White angry.
Viral Videos On Social Media
The one ranked on top as the number one contender in the 135-pound division has been posting viral videos on Facebook and lately, some of his actions angered Dana White. Dvalishvili seemed to have a bad cut over his eye a few weeks ago, days before his showdown with bantamweight champion Sean O’Malley at UFC 306 on September 14. Dana White was surprised about this injury and even more surprised that Dvalishvili posted it actively, and then when the latter removed the stitches with the help of a big pair of scissors. He posted that on social media too, it seems like Merab is now addicted to TikTok and Facebook. Dana White said in anger:
“Isn’t he awesome? I think he’s just f*cking with me now, to be honest with you.”
Cancellation Of The Fight
UFC might be taking serious measures relating to the injury of Dvalishvili but Merab has clearly stated that he’s alright and that it is no serious issue. This injury will make him even stronger. It is not fully understood how serious Dvalishvili’s injury is but it has concerned the UFC and those who follow the sport. In the past, cuts like this have sometimes resulted in the cancellation of fights or left fighters disadvantaged in the sense that the cut could easily re-open.
In a recent press conference with Dana White, he said that Merab might know what he is doing but still he left Dana wondering if he’ll be right, for now, things seem to be alright. The stitches are now off of the skin, although Merab cut them with scissors which are used for cutting bushes. But for now, things seem to be ready for the UFC 306 main event.

Fighters work hard to get to the level, where they get the title shot, and so did Merab. He is risking it with these little things that can put the flight in jeopardy. Merab should take care of every step that he takes now because it can destroy the opportunity for which he waited for years.
