Kyrie Irving led the Mavericks with 35 points, four rebounds, and five assists in 39 minutes. Luka Doncic added 24 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists in 40 minutes. PJ Washington had 17 points, eight rebounds, and three assists in 32 minutes. Daniel Gafford scored 14 points and added four rebounds in 21 minutes.

For the Timberwolves, Julius Randle — a Dallas native — passed the ball to Donte DiVincenzo, who notably completed the three-point shot in the first half. Randle has been settling in as a new member of the Timberwolves.

Mike Conley Jr. connected for a three-pointer in the second half. Conley Jr. is widely known for his 12-year tenure with the Memphis Grizzlies before a four-year stint with the Jazz and now the Timberwolves, with whom he signed a contract extension on February 23, 2024.
