The Mavericks fans have been targeting their tirade of verbal abuse at the Mavericks’ ownership, and continuing their profanity with their newfound love to post the “F-word” the most times out of all the teams’ fans, used 8,340 at the time of writing. Read on for the latest stats surrounding the Mavericks fans and the other nine teams’ fans.

Dallas Mavericks Fans’ Anger

The Dallas Mavericks fans’ anger has skyrocketed following the Luka Doncic departure. According to Flash Picks, a betting picks, parlays, predictions, and news brand, Dallas Mavericks fans are the angriest in the NBA following Doncic’s trade to the LA Lakers. Mavericks fans have sworn over 23,000 times on Reddit, and fans have blasted Majority Owner Miriam Adelson following with thousands of posts including “b**ch,” “bulls**t,” and “motherf***er.”

Flash Picks said that Mavericks fans have made their feelings known with a huge increase in numerous posts that include “bulls**t” since, used 1,215 times. “B**ch” has been used 1,225 times, mainly in aggressive posts verbally abusing the Mavericks’ ownership group, and “motherf***er” has also been included in 110 posts. Mavericks fans have posted 23,433 curse words on Reddit so far this year.

Mavericks Fans’ Swearing

The Dallas Mavericks fans’ swearing has helped them become the angriest fanbase in the NBA. Over 12.5 million fans are members of their respective NBA team’s subreddit, and there have been a whopping 232,780 curse words posted in rants on online forums in just the past two months, an average of 7,759 per team. Mavericks fans have posted 23,433 curse words in the Mavericks’ Reddit forum since January 1, 2025.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver repeatedly understands the Mavericks fans’ anger at the Luka Doncic trade and said “Time will tell.” Silver, 62, told ESPN, “I have absolutely no knowledge or belief there were any ulterior motives … There’s no doubt in my mind that the Dumont and Adelson families bought that team to keep it in Dallas. I have no doubt whatsoever that they’re committed to the long-term success of that franchise.”

“In terms of the Dallas fans, all I can say to them is, again, time will tell whether it was a smart trade, but I think they should believe in their organization. Their organization truly made a trade that they believed was in the best interest of the organization, and in many cases, again, it doesn’t mean they were right or wrong, but it’s very difficult to put yourself in their shoes. They are living with the situation. They have a philosophical belief on what’s necessary ultimately to win championships, and I’m not in a position to second-guess that.”

Final Thoughts

As the Dallas Mavericks fans continue to express anger about the Doncic trade, the Mavericks fans share the love of one curse word, f**k, with the Los Angeles Lakers. Ironically, the Lakers have been ranked the second-angriest fanbase in the NBA this year. Lakers fans have posted “s**t” 3,915 times and were more likely than Mavericks fans to post “h*ll,” used on 2,460 occasions.

The Dallas Mavericks and Lakers were followed by the Golden State Warriors, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and Atlanta Hawks, rounding out Flash Picks’ top 10 list of the angriest fanbases in the NBA. Flash Picks’ study also revealed the calmest fanbase in the NBA is the Utah Jazz, despite having the second-worst record in the Western Conference. Jazz fans have posted just 885 comments that contain a curse word, more than 500 fewer than any other team’s fans.
