All four men proceeded to jump into an oversized Salvation Army kettle and began to play Whack-a-Mole in the kettle. This stunt then went viral, quite possibly making it the signature moment of the season
Impact On The Dallas Cowboys Roster
The release of Hendershot likely means the Cowboys are keeping their tight end focus elsewhere. With Schoonaker having locked in his position and then the breakout candidates in John Stephens Jr. and Princeton Fant, releasing Hendershot can make way for them. The Cowboys also brought in undrafted free agent Brevyn Spann-Ford, which continued to make things a little more competitive.
The waiving of Hendershot is thus on par with the strategic movements of the Cowboys for the next season. In other words, the team will be able to be in a position of giving concentration to other talented persons to fit the tight end position to ensure effective offensive formation.
