Cristiano Ronaldo has now become the fastest person to reach a staggering 20 million subscribers on YouTube.

Cristiano Ronaldo earlier shattered the record for achieving the fastest 10 million subscribers on YouTube. Ronaldo is known for making football history. His achievements have now begun to spread beyond the realm of sports. First, Ronaldo achieved the impressive milestone of reaching 1 million subscribers on YouTube just hours after launching his channel. As reported by Goal.com, Ronaldo now holds this record after defeating Hamster Kombat. Hamster reached the impressive milestone of 10 million in just seven days, while Ronaldo managed to do so in 24 hours. With five Ballon d’Or awards to his name, the 39-year-old is presently playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
The Portuguese superstar shared a video on Instagram of his kids holding a ‘gold play button’ plaque that he received from YouTube as a reward for hitting one million subscribers. Cristiano Ronaldo wrote: “A present for my family ❤️ Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!”
Cristiano Ronaldo has already surpassed Lionel Messi’s subscriber count of 2.31m. However, the 39-year-old still has a long way to go to catch up with Mr. Beast who has a total of 331m YouTube subscribers. This is not the first time that Cristiano Ronaldo has broken and set new records on social media. Ronaldo also has a record-breaking 636 million Instagram followers, 170 million Facebook followers, and 112.6 million X followers.
Ronaldo’s 2024 Jouney So Far
On the field, Ronaldo has experienced a mix of successes and setbacks in 2024. Following a disappointing loss to France, Ronaldo-led Portugal was eliminated from the Euro 2024. Portugal kept the score 0-0 till the end of the contest. They lost 5-3 in the penalty shootout, though, as they were unable to save a single French player’s penalty attempt. Ronaldo’s performance in the Euro 2024 Championship is one to be forgotten, as he was unable to find the back of the net throughout the entire tournament. Despite playing in all five matches, the 39-year-old was unable to score a goal for Portugal.
Ronaldo has performed brilliantly with Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. In just 47 matches, he has managed to score an impressive 49 goals and also provided 13 assists. Last week, Ronaldo made an appearance in Al Nassr’s starting lineup for the Saudi Super Cup final against Al Hilal. Ronaldo scored a goal, but it wasn’t enough for Al Nassr, as they lost 4-1.
