Conor McGregor Appreciated by Jeremy Stephens: “Who the Hell Is this?”

Conor McGregor Appreciated by Jeremy Stephens

Conor McGregor has had unexpected decisions over the past three years. Sometimes he decides to come to UFC, and a few days later he decides not to. The CEO of UFC, Dana White, has clarified that McGregor is not coming back until 2025. So that answers that question.

McGregor is famous for his famous trash-talking, as for now he usually trash-talks against Michael Chandler and Sean O’Malley sometimes. But there is no love lost between Conor and Jeremy Stephens, and their beef can be traced to an incident before UFC 205 in 2016. Now they may get a chance to sort out their problems in the bare knuckle fight, famously known as BKFC.

Conor McGregor and Stephens have different opinions about their toughest rivals. The bad blood emerged as McGregor was asked by journalists who he would consider to pose a greater challenge between him and the other fighters present in the pre-fight conference. Stephens answered that question, and he was quick to say that he was the toughest challenge and he was the hardest-hitting featherweight who punches his opponents in such a way that they cannot move. Conor McGregor, who is famous for his iconic answers, said to Stephens, “Who the f*ck is that guy?”

Stephens has at last changed his views about McGregor and now shows respect to ‘The Notorious,’ and that might be because of McGregor taking some big steps in the past few months. However, while Stephens took pleasure in trash-talking McGregor in the past, which then blew up on social media, he has some level of admiration for the former two-division UFC champion for endorsing bare-knuckle boxing.

Jeremy Stephens said, “Honestly, I’m grateful. Anything Conor touches turns to gold. A lot of eyes on Conor. Conor is the type of guy that would get into bare-knuckle. I believe it. He’s from the streets as well, and I’m sure he’s been in some bare-knuckle [fights] before getting there. He believes in it. It takes a lot of psychotic skills. If we can sign up more guys like me, him, and I think bare-knuckle is big, big business.”

After UFC, we might see McGregor join BKFC as a fighter, as he has expressed his desire to conduct a bare-knuckle fight before he hangs his gloves. For now, he has two fights remaining on his UFC deal and is still hoping to face Michael Chandler when he gets back in the octagon.

Possible Future

There is a high possibility that Conor McGregor will not fight in the UFC again against Michael Chandler or anyone else because he has already built several multimillion-ddollar businesses, which are enough for the rest of his life and his upcoming generations. But if he quits the parties and focuses on training to get in good shape, he might fight in UFC or BKFC.
