Connor Mosack Nascar

In an announcement made Tuesday, December 3, McAnally Hilgemann Racing confirmed that Connor Mosack has signed to run full-time with the team in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2025. 25-year-old Mosack will pilot the No. 81 Chevrolet Silverado. He joins the 2021 Xfinity champion and will debut on February 14, 2025, at Daytona for the Fresh from Florida 250 as the second driver to be signed by McAnally in 3 weeks.

Connor Mosack will be a massive beneficiary to the team and series, having run part-time with Bret Holmes Racing and Spire and Niece Motorsports from 2022 to 2024. Mosack has also competed in a handful of Xfinity races with Joe Gibbs, Sam Hunt Racing, and JR Motorsports while perfecting ARCA Menards East and West skills. Without question, he brings a diverse brand of talent and tenacity to McAnally-Hilgemann Racing, something fans are eager to witness in 2025.

Connor Mosack’s Impressive Craftsman Stats

At only 25 years old, Connor Mosack mastered his craft behind the wheel and proved he’s capable in multiple facets of racing. However, his performance during his partial run with Spire and Niece Motorsports teams in 2024 can be credited for igniting his full-time career with McAnally-Hilgemann. Between the split Spire and Niece stints, he secured an impressive seven top-twenties, four top-tens,  and a single top-five with an average start of 11.0 and a finish of 15.0. Among his best 2024 performances was behind the wheel of the No. 7 for Spire Motorsports at Homestead, Miami, starting in 10.0 and finishing in 3.0.

The second was at Charlotte Motorspeedway at the Toyota 200, also piloting Spire’s No.7, starting in seventh and finishing in eighth. Connor Mosack has tasted what it means to produce results apart from the ability to race at different levels. This determination and versatility put Mosack on McAnally-Hilgemann owners David McAnally and William Hilgemann’s radar. Both are no strangers to winning, so for Mosack, the partnership is a win-win. In 2024, the McAnally Hilegmann team clinched four wins, two in Martinsville and one in Bristol and Nashville. Additionally, the team racked up 5 poles, 21 top-tens, and 14 top-five finishes with 1,050 laps led. The statistics speak for themselves, and adding Connor Mosack will only sweeten these numbers.

I Was Impressed With the Job Connor Did

Piloting the No.81 full-time is not just a dream come true for Connor Mosack. He sees it as an opportunity to broaden MHR’s success. He’s especially looking to the playoffs, arguing that each of McAnally Hilgemann’s four teams was successful in 2024. Mosack also looks forward to working with crew chief Blake Bainbridge, who saw No. 43 driver Daniel Dye grow through his career at MHR. He hopes the pair can work closely to be top contenders, win races, and take the team to the playoffs. Mosack’s strong work ethic and willingness to compete and win at any level is how Bill McAnally knew the 25-year-old would be an asset.

The owner left no qualms regarding how encouraged he was with Connor Mosack’s performance in 2024, acknowledging his commitment to compete and win. McAnally is excited about the chance to win more races, and Mosack will increase the probability of winning. He brings with him 28 starts in Xfinity and two ARCA Menards victories. The hope is that his success, coupled with crew chief Blake Bainbridge’s guidance, will be the key that unlocks the added success Bill McAnally is eyeing in 2025 with the Craftsman Series.

“I’m ecstatic to start 2025 with everybody at MHR and want to continue this team’s success in the playoff,” Connor Mosack said.

“All four MHR teams had great performances this past year, so this is a big opportunity to race with a winning organization.”It’s great to continue being part of Team Chevy, and I appreciate NAPA Nightvison and everyone at MHR for making this a reality,” he added.

“I was impressed with the job Connor did last season and wanted him to be part of our lineup in 2025.” “He showed he has the talent and commitment to compete and win at this level and we’re excited about the potential that he has joining our group. He and Blake will make a great pair and create opportunities for us to win race,” said owner Bill McAnally.

Final Thoughts

As Connor Mosack prepares to run as a full-time Craftsman driver, many around the NASCAR community are eager to see him in action. Will he stretch beyond his average start at 12.0 and finish at 15.0 since signing with McAnally Hilgemann Racing? Chances are he’ll do even better, and his 2024 run in Homestead Miami is the prime example. Mosack finished in third after an intense on-track battle with 11-time champ Corey Heim, who trailed behind in fourth. This tenacity on the track sets Mosack apart from other drivers and will ultimately bolster his growth and success with McAnally Hilgemann Racing in 2025.
