The 2024 Chicago White Sox have a ways to go if they want to have the longest losing streak in the history of Major League Baseball. The Louisville Colonels lost 26 consecutive games in 1889. With a putrid record of 27-86, Chicago is already on track to go down as one of the worst teams in league history. The least amount of wins in the Modern Era was the 1916 Philadelphia Athletics who went 36-117. That is a win percentage of 23.5 while this year’s White Sox team has a win percentage of 23.8.
