Chicago Bulls Shooting Guard Josh Giddey made history in Saturday night’s road victory against the Los Angeles Lakers. Chicago won 146-115 as the Lakers had no answer for Chicago’s offense. The Bulls scored a season-high 146 points in the win.
Giddey finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds, 17 assists, and 8 steals. He is the first player in NBA history to put up those numbers in a game. Point Guard Coby White and Forward Matas Buzelis scored 36 and 31 points respectively to help the Chicago Bulls blow out the Lakers. A great offensive performance helped the team overcome 34 points from Luka Doncic and the return of LeBron James from injury.
Giddey has played well this season averaging 14 points per game, 7.7 assists, and 6.9 assists. He is 26th in the league in rebounds and 11th in assists. Will Giddey continue making history as the Bulls look to finish the regular season on a high note?

Chicago is 31-40 and the No. 9 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls have been a mainstay in the Play-In Tournament. This season will seemingly be the same. Chicago’s offense has been strong this year. They are sixth in points scored, 16th in field goal percentage, and 12th in three-point percentage.
The defense of the Chicago Bulls has been mediocre this season. They are 28th in points allowed, 19th in opposing field goal percentage, and second in opposing three-point percentage. Chicago decided to trade away Zach LaVine at the NBA Trade Deadline to reset the team.
Final Thoughts
Giddey and the Bulls return to the court Monday night on the road against the Denver Nuggets. Chicago won the previous matchup at home in January. Even though the Bulls are guaranteed to make the play-in, they will try to climb into the No. 7 or No. 8 seed. That will give the Chicago Bulls a margin of error this postseason.
