Apart from Man City, no team in the premier league nears Chelsea in squad depth. The Blues have packed all the hottest prospects in football from Estevao to Marc Guiu. They have a squad that can compete at the highest level, and if they have an injury-plagued season like the 2023/2024, they won’t be affected.

Chelsea is a team filled with players that can play in any style. Last season, we saw Pochettino turn these players into possession fiends, we have also seen these players use a counter-attacking, and play with a high press. The players can thrive in any system they are placed in.
3. Technically Secure Players
One of the reasons Chelsea players can thrive in a variety of tactical setups is their high technical level. Whoever handled Chelsea’s recruitment for the past two seasons has had his head in the right direction. While they haven’t had success in the short term, the future holds so much promise for the London-based club. A good example of great recruitment is the club’s midfield, I haven’t seen a midfield this balanced since Kroos-Casemiro-Modric Trio.

Maresca is another disciple of Pep coming into the premier league but unlike Kompany, he is blessed with a team that can play the football he wants to play. Maresca is the perfect manager to steer The Blues to victory, and what makes his entry even better is Klopp’s exit from the Premier League. This makes it even more perfect for the League to finally sleep in London(preferably not North London).
