Chelsea have a lot to look forward to next year after agreeing to a huge signing that could see them score dozens of goals in the 2024-2025 season. Chelsea didn’t do as well as they had hoped this year – Pochettino struggled to keep his squad in fine form and keep spirits high as they dwindled further and further down the table.
Players like Mason Mount and Gallagher weren’t able to maintain their high form of previous teams, and the entire club had a 2023-2024 Premier League year they would just like to forget. It is no wonder the club looked to sign a prolific striker right away for next year, as they struggled to find the back of the net consistently week in and week out during this tense EPL season.

Chelsea have reached an agreement to sell one of their formerly prized possessions from their club for almost $40 million – enough money to let them potentially purchase a new up and coming striker from Palmeiras next season.
Lukaku used to be the best of the best in the EPL. He was big, strong, and prolific at goal scoring. But, his form has faltered in recent years – despite a recent resurgence with DeBruyne and the Belgian national team – prompting Pochettino to consider selling the #9 to get some cash into the club.
The Belgian international seems to be on the move yet again, with a change during the summer transfer window highly likely. Other players, like Ziyech, are considering leaving the team as well after a disappointing Premier League run.’
Chelsea FC are asking for just $40 million for Lukaku, a fairly low number considering the prowess this striker once had. Lukaku has played on various loan spells throughout his time at the club, including a very successful time at Roma with Mourinho, a former Premier League manager.
There are rumors Lukaku will move to the Saudi league to join other older players, like N’golo Kante or Ronaldo, or that he will permanently make the move to the Italian league. No matter where it is, it is almost 100% certain he is leaving Chelsea FC this summer.

Chelsea 2024-2025 Premier League
Chelsea will contend in the Premier League for the next 2024-2025 season. Last year was a big year for the club, seeing the usually-high-ranking club come in the middle of the table after player issues, injuries, and errors made in games that led to costly points dropped. The club as a whole also saw changes, such as sponsorship deal variations, kit alterations, and personnel changes.
Next year, Chelsea could switch up their home kit to include red and orange accents that pay homage to their home kit back in the early 1990s. The club will most likely sell their brand-new tops on their website for between $90 and $110 for die-hard fans.
Furthermore, Chelsea’s fixture list will be released the second week of June, giving fans tons of time to purchase home and away tickets for their team. The 2024-2025 season is going to kick off on the weekend of August 17th, which is less than three months after the end of the 2023-2024 Premier League year.
We hope that Willian has enough time to settle into his new team, recover, and get to pre-season feeling sharp and ready to go.
