champions league draw

The Champions League draw for the 24/5 season is set to hold on the 29th of August 2024. The UCL will return next month, this time in a much different format than in the previous years. UEFA has planned to implement a league table system instead of the usual group-stage pairing. And after the league stage is completed by the teams, the knockout phase will be next.

The format for the knockout phases that involve the round of 16, quarterfinals, and semifinals will remain as it was before. Therefore only the group stage format will amended into a league system that’ll allow all the European teams to battle against each other.
