Complex Sports recently posted a clip on their social media pages of Cam Newton alongside Brandon Marshall that appears to have been recorded sometime during the filming of an episode of First We Feast’s Truth or Dab show and prior to the altercation that he was recently involved in at one of his 7v7 football camps in Atlanta, GA. The game show is similar in format to the hugely popular interview series Hot Ones is also hosted by YouTube star Sean Evans and consists of Evans probing celebrity guests with specific questions about their careers. The guests can either take the opportunity to clear the air and answer truthfully or consume a chicken wing partially coated in the Last Dab, a spicy hot sauce that Evans’s crew has made.
Cam Calls Out a Few 7v7 Stars Before Viral Altercation
In the clip, former star wide receiver for the New York Giants and New York Jets Marshall was quizzed by former star quarterback for the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers Newton if he could recall any NFL athletes that have left more of a lasting legacy on their community than him, specifically through Cam’s aforementioned football camps. Before Marshall could give a few names, Newton began to name them all with ease, including DeShaun Watson and Bo Nix. When asked by Marshall why he hasn’t officially started an agency to benefit from their successes fully, Cam exclaimed, “I don’t want nothing from the kids, that’s the thing… I’ve spent time, money, effort, energy to make sure that them at 15, 16 years old [know] this is how you’re supposed to do it when you get in my position.”

Justin Fields – #1 With Chicago Bears
Fields is number one on Cam’s list and number one for the Chicago Bears. Since joining the NFL, Justin Fields has amassed 6,674 passing yards, 2,220 rushing yards, 16 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. His time in Chicago may be cut short, according to a CBS Sports interview with Bears general manager Ryan Poles. He said Fields will potentially be traded soon should they receive a first-round draft pick.
DeShaun Watson – #4 With Cleveland Browns
Watson is next up on the Cam list and has played for the Cleveland Browns since March 2022. Watson has achieved a whopping total of 16,756 passing yards, 1,994 rushing yards, 138 touchdowns, and 45 interceptions. After having undergone surgery due to a fracture in his right shoulder during a game against the Baltimore Ravens in November 2023, Browns GM Andrew Berry declared that he should be cleared to play in March. “He’s in a really good place,” Browns’ Berry stated. “We’re excited when the spring hits, and we can get him back on the field.”
Bo Nix – #10 With Oregon Ducks
NFL hopeful Bo Nix has been making a name for himself in the college football circuit. In 2023, the Heisman trophy finalist was bestowed with the William V. Campbell Trophy and named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year after boasting 4,500 passing yards and 45 touchdowns. While attaining both titles, Nix broke Mac Jones’ completion record and Marcus Mariota’s NCAA single-season record. He hasn’t been chosen by a team yet, but the rumor mill predicts he may join the Broncos, Raiders, or even the Vikings. The Giants could benefit from such a rising star, too. Only time will tell.
George Pickens – #14 With Pittsburgh Steelers
Pickens, the first wide receiver on the list, has played with the Steelers since officially joining the team in 2022. Pickens has currently racked up 1,941 receiving yards, 115 receptions, nine touchdowns, and 42 rushing yards. Recently, the NFL and his team fined the budding star for a total amount close to $200,000. The NFL has made the reason for his fines public. They were due to Pickens exhibiting “unnecessary roughness and unnecessary conduct.”
