Caleb Williams is setting the sports world on fire with his own unique sense of fashion. He definitely goes here. Williams wears pink on Wednesdays and every other day of the week too.
Caleb Williams Sets the Internet Ablaze
Imagine it… a quarterback who is a Heisman Trophy winner and the projected #1 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft. Imagine a man wearing makeup, crying in front of people, wearing pink, and painting his nails. Who ever would have thought they could be the same person? Caleb Williams did.
Caleb was seen watching the USC-Kansas basketball game on March 25th, doing the Queen’s wave at the cameras. He made sure everyone saw his pink phone case, pink nails, and bright pink lips.

Between this and his emotional display after USC lost a game against the Washington Huskies several months ago, Williams has much of the sports community fumbling, trying to find their pearls to grab.
The repeated photos of him showing his nails painted in different colors? Garlic to a vampire.
Not For the Faint of Heart
The NFL, in particular, can be perceived culturally as traditionally allergic to people who defy the status quo of a very rigid concept of masculinity. Some players have tried it in the past, and as long as you play well and aren’t too loud or proud, you can hang out in the peripherals.
You don’t cry (even if you’re Jack Lambert playing with a broken leg); the only thing you paint on yourself is stickum, and you can wear clothes that are red, black, blue, orange, gray, or dark shades of green.
Caleb Williams is not a peripheral player, though. He’s front and center. Wearing pink, in tears.
And that’s not even considering the fact that this young man is proudly joining the ranks of the few Native American quarterbacks in the NFL and is also a black quarterback in the NFL, which is still not the norm and comes with its own unique challenges.
Imagine how many young people will be able to look up to Caleb Williams and see themselves. How many young men who were afraid of not “fitting the mold” will be willing to play a sport?
And, haters, please don’t hate—do you really want your name to be replaced by Regina’s in this iconic quote: “Raise your hand if you have ever been personally victimized by Regina George?” I don’t think so.

He’s bold, he’s beautiful, he’s Caleb Williams. And we’re here for it!
Honestly, his freedom of expression is literally so fetch. Is Caleb Williams the Dennis Rodman of the 2020s? Joining the ranks of NFL fashionistas like John Fuqua? How will he send the sports world into a tailspin next?
