BREAKING: Indiana Pacers Lose Big Star Halfway Through Game 2

Indiana Pacers Tyrese Haliburton

Tonight, the Indiana Pacers have the chance to tie the series against the Boston Celtics 1-1. The game has remained close with the Pacers managing to have surges in critical moments. Pascal Siakam has been leading the way for the team while the other starters have struggled greatly.

The Indiana Pacers may have had the chance to win this game in the fourth. They periodically cut the lead down every time it seemed like the Celtics were running away with it. However, all hopes may have been squashed with the injury of their young star.

During the fourth guard, Tyrese Haliburton disappeared to the locker room, and it was unsure whether he’d be seen again. It didn’t seem like Hali was seriously injured until they replayed the grimace on his face. The broadcast would soon state that he would not return to the game with left leg soreness.

Haliburton has been a bit inconsistent since his leg injury earlier in the year. Soreness isn’t usually a major injury, but the Pacers might have to be a bit worried with this one. In January, Haliburton injured his left leg and was diagnosed with a grade one hamstring strain. Hopefully, this is not his old injury flaring up.

What to Expect if Hali Sits Game 3

Surprisingly, the Indiana Pacers might not have to be too stressed about Tyrese Haliburton being out in the next game. His inconsistency has led to other players stepping up in crucial games. He’s had plenty of games where he struggled to get on the board. Tonight, he only gave the team 10 points.

He has had a lot of underwhelming performances that the Pacers haven’t had to stress about, thanks to Pascal Siakam. However, they are facing off against a strong Boston Celtics team that has been bullying injured teams all playoffs. They will probably still play well without Hali, but winning could be out of the question.
