Jadon Sancho is having a good time in his loan tenure with Borussia Dortmund. The English winger scored one in a 3-1 victory over PSV Eindhoven to secure the Champions League quarter-final spot. Multiple reports suggested Sancho will join Dortmund permanently as the club is preparing the move.
Dortmund proposed a £35 million offer for the Manchester United player to rejoin next season. Sancho, who is in a ‘cold war’ with manager Erik Ten Hag, started to find his touch back on the pitch as the 23-year-old won a ‘Man of the Match” award in the PSV game.

Dortmund Manager Promises The Best Of Jadon Sancho Is Yet To Show Up
Edin Terzic, the guy behind Dortmund’s tactics this season, is happy with Sancho’s development since coming out from the gloomy period with United. Terzic said that Sancho has started to grow confidence in terms of playing, something that has not been seen in the past 18 months.
“Seven days ago, everyone was asking me about when he will return to shape and form and when he will score,” Terzic told TNT Sports. “There was a lot of criticism last week, but we see he is enjoying being with us and playing.
“He’s enjoying being with his team-mates on and off the pitch and Jadon is a player that needs to smile. If he’s smiling then he’s going to shine on the pitch and it’s really for important for us that he can perform like this.
“He did it really well in the last two games and I think tonight was his best performance and we know there’s a lot more to come.”
Jadon Sancho Is Happy With His Development
Sancho, who opened the lead for Dortmund during the game against PSV, has expressed his gratitude regarding the current performance. The Camberwell-born said that Dortmund has always understood him when it comes to playing.
“I’ve always got a special place for Borussia Dortmund – this is where I kind of made my name,” he said after beating PSV. “I’ve got to be grateful to them, but also to my teammates, just for believing in me. I’m just happy that we got the win today.”
Sancho Raised Praise From England Legend
Former England midfielder Glenn Hoddle appreciated Sancho’s improvement since returning to Dortmund. Hoddle said that the player could finally get what he wanted on the pitch, something that according to him, had never been given by United.
“He’s going into places where at United where he just wouldn’t go,” Hoddle said. “He’s going into awkward places where he’s perhaps going to get kicked, perhaps going to get marked heavily.
“He wanted the ball. In the first half particularly, he wanted the ball so many times. He got annoyed if it didn’t come. That’s when you’re confident. That’s when you’re on top of your game.”
United’s Response to Dortmund’s Proposition
As a response to Dortmund’s offer, United are reportedly asking the German club to raise the proposition as much as £5 million for Sancho. This means that the Old Trafford-based club would only be willing to discuss if the suitor offered at least £40 million for the player.
According to Transfermarkt, Sancho’s market value is around £21 million with his loan deal expiring this summer. However, the arrival of Sir Jim Rattcliffe into the club will push United to chase a better price.
What Will It Be For Sancho?
As the off-pitch issue is going on, Sancho will stick to what he has to do with Dortmund this season. Apart from the two-legged quarter-final agenda against Atletico Madrid, Die Borussen is also on a mission to chase the league’s top spot to be in the Champions League again next season.
Due to the so-called cold war with Ten Hag, The Sun reported that Sancho is reluctant about his return to Old Trafford. This will lead the rumor to go into a next-phase conversation. It is either Sancho or Ten Hag should go as the current operational boss Sir Jim Rattcliffe has guaranteed that the Dutch manager will no longer be in United’s managerial position this summer.
