The board is awaiting a written assurance from the army, which they can present to the ICC.
The Women’s T20 World Cup is going to involve ten teams in 23 matches within 18 days. These are going to be held in two of the important cricket stadiums: Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka, and Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Sylhet. The smooth conduct of these matches depends a lot on the security arrangements that can be assured.

Difficulties notwithstanding, the BCB is determined to go ahead with the tournament.
