WWE Bash in Berlin Results: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre Strap Match

WWE Bash in Berlin Results: CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre

Bash in Berlin was the second fight of the Punk and McIntyre rivalry. The first meeting between them was at WWE SummerSlam earlier this month. The last match featured a much more muscular and stronger McIntyre. The rivalry went too personal when McIntyre took the bracelet off of his hand, which had the name of Punk Dog ‘Larry’ and his wife ‘AJ’ on it. A lot of trash-talking occurred between McIntyre and Punk before the match, resulting in an intense match in ‘Bash in Berlin.’

While other matches of ‘Bash in Berlin’ had different entries, Punk’s entry was destroyed by McIntyre. While Punk was in the middle of his entrance, McIntyre attacked him and started to beat him vigorously. McIntyre dragged him to the commentary desk and beat him up there, after that he was thrown into the ring, and that was the time when both wrestlers were in the ring, and the bell rang, and the match officially started. McIntyre tied up the strap to his hand and began to whoop Punk. He pulled an impressive Russian Leg sweep, which hurt PJ badly.

Last Moments of CM Punk Vs. Drew McIntyre

When McIntyre tried to beat him with the strap again, Punk slipped out and sent McIntyre to sleep. This was the moment that Punk’s dominance started. But the ups and downs continued as Punk whipped McIntyre with a strap a few times and then wanted to pull out a table from under the ring, but McIntyre interrupted and beat him up and put the table back under the ring.

But when they were in the Ring again, Punk dominated the moment and was able to take time to take out the table and set it up. Moments after, Punk found his head being smashed into the ring’s turnbuckle. But after a few turnbuckles, Punk started to hit McIntyre with the turnbuckle. But soon, McIntyre stops Punk by beating him with the strap. McIntyre pulled the bracelet from Punk and put it on. This enraged Punk, and it motivated him to get back up.

Full of Anger, Punk pulled out a GTS (Go To Sleep) on McIntyre. When he again saw his bracelet on McIntyre’s hand, he pulled the GTS three times, which gave him the time to take his bracelet back and put it on proudly. Punk ended the match with the most interesting move, as he smashed McIntyre’s head on the turnbuckle again and for the last time in ‘Bash in Berlin’ and won the match.

Final Thoughts

Taking the Bracelet from Punk was the worst move of McIntyre and that was his last move in the ring. After that, emotional Punk showed him how much he cared for his family, and that’s what every man should do, but overall, the story of Punk and McIntyre was outstanding to watch.
