Harty began his career with the New Orleans Saints in 2019 and spent the first four seasons of his career in “The Big Easy.” He signed with the Buffalo Bills during the 2023 NFL Offseason.
He has 79 career receptions and five receiving touchdowns.
How Will Deonte Harty Fit In With The Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens had a great season in 2023 that resulted in the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Quarterback Lamar Jackson won his second MVP award and led the Ravens to have the best rushing attack in the league at over 156 yards per game. The team’s passing attack left a lot to be desired as the team averaged under 215 yards per game through the air. That is where Harty fits in as he looks to bolster the passing attack of one of the AFC’s biggest contenders.
Harty joins a Baltimore Ravens receiving corps that includes Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews. Baltimore will look to rebound from an AFC Championship Game loss to the Kansas City Chiefs where their offense mustered only 10 points.
The Baltimore Ravens enter the season with Super Bowl aspirations and adding a veteran like Harty will be a move the team hopes will help them meet such a lofty goal.
