Sale made his Major League debut in 2010 with the Chicago White Sox and is one of the best pitchers of his generation. He spent the first seven seasons of his career in the “Windy City” and the following six seasons as a member of the Boston Red Sox. He signed a two-year $38 million contract with the Atlanta Braves before the 2024 regular season.
Sale is an eight-time MLB all-star and won the 2018 World Series as a member of the Red Sox. He also came close to winning two Cy Young Awards as he finished third in 2014 and fifth in 2013.
