Pfaadt made his debut last season with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was a critical part of a Diamondbacks team that made it to the 2023 World Series. They eventually lost in five games to the Texas Rangers. Pfaadt posted a 3.27 ERA in the 2023 MLB Postseason over six appearances. He has a career record of 7-15 with an ERA of 4.62.

The Diamondbacks begin a three-game set on Monday on the road against the Kansas City Royals.
Arizona will have their work cut out for them in the second half of the season as they look to follow up their National League pennant. They are seeking their third trip to the MLB Playoffs in the last eight seasons. Arizona’s pitching staff, led by a red-hot Pfaadt, will need to continue pitching well for the Diamondbacks to break through in a crowded National League Wild Card picture.
