Although Texas faced an early scare, Quarterback Arch Manning relieved an injured Quinn Ewers well.

The last time that the Texas Longhorns were No. 1 was a three-week stint ending at Texas Tech.

Meanwhile, the Georgia Bulldogs will battle the Alabama Crimson Tide on their turf. By unseating the Georgia Bulldogs at the top of the pack, Texas has put the SEC on notice.
