Alexander Volkanovski Supports Israel Adesanya for UFC 305

Alexander Volkanovski Supports Israel Adesanya

Alexander Volkanovski wants to see his friend Israel Adensanya as the next UFC Middleweight Champion. Israel Adesanya has fought 27 fights and until now he has won 24 of them. He will be fighting to be the top champion of the middleweight division. Israel Adesanya will be fighting the current champion, Dricus Du Plessis in UFC 305 on Saturday in Perth, Australia.

Dricus Du Plessis is the current UFC Middleweight Champion, and he was challenged by Israel Adesanya, which he accepted to prove that he is the real champion. However, we will see at UFC 305 who is the real champion of the middleweight division truly is. Israel Adesanya’s friend, Alexander Volkanovski, appreciates him and talks about his awesome skills on his YouTube channel.

Alexander Volkanovski Appreciation

Alexander Volkanovski is always cheering for Israel Adesanya. He also calls him by his nickname ‘The Last Stylebender’, who will fight Dricus Du Plessis for the UFC Middleweight Title next week. The words of Alexander matter a lot in UFC because he has already proven himself in the featherweight division as a former champion in that weight class.

Before the fight, former UFC Featherweight Champion Volkanovski made a video explaining how the match might go. On his YouTube channel, Alexander Volkanovski described Dricus Du Plessis as an ‘unusual’ fighter. “I think Israel Adesanya is gonna put on that type of performance, where he goes out and gets a crazy finish.” Calling the South African’s fighting style ‘strange’, the Australian is putting his money on Israel Adesanya.

Dricus Du Impressive Performance

Dricus Du Plessis has fought 23 fights and he has won 21 of them so taking Adesanya taking him lightly would be a big mistake. Other than that, he has been continuously winning in the past months, which makes him a tough opponent.
Dricus Du Plessis has been rising in the ranks recently. He has dominated a lot of great fighters recently like Robert Whittaker, he has been in control in his last two fights. Even though his UFC 297 match with Sean Strickland was considered unfair by Eric Nicksick and Strickland himself, there’s no doubt that Du Plessis has earned his title.

Trash Talking Between Fighters

Leading up to the fight, the two fighters had a lot of trash-talking going on. It all began when Adesanya decided to come into the ring in UFC 290 and confront Du Plessis. The champion accused the challenger of insulting the glory of other African champions like Kamaru Usman and Francis Ngannou. But he went too far when he even lashed out at Du Plessis for having a ‘colonial mindset’. Such comments should not be a part of the sports, even in the trash-talking.
