Mercedes Mone Defends TBS Title
AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone will look to defend her title against the face of the women’s division, Britt Baker. Mone made her long-awaited AEW debut in March of 2024, as her arrival was the opening segment of Big Business. She immediately proved to the world that she was a top star in the division as in her first match with the company she was able to win the TBS championship.
She then went on to defeat Stephanie Vaquer at Forbidden Door 2024 for the NJPW Strong Women’s title, making her a double champion just three months after debuting for the company. Britt Baker made her return at that same PPV, with the mindset of challenging Mone and showing the fans that she is the top women’s wrestler in the company. She will get the chance to do that at All In 2024, when the two top stars face each other off in a championship match.
MJF Takes on Hometown Hero
MJF looks to defend his AEW American Championship (FKA AEW International Championship) against British wrestling star Will Ospreay. This is the second time Ospreay will compete at Wembley Stadium, with the first being at All In 2023. He defeated the legendary Chris Jericho at the same event last year, proving that he takes a step up every time he competes in front of his home crowd.
Will made his debut for the company in February 2024 and won the International title at Double or Nothing after defeating Roderick Strong. This came just after a victory over Bryan Danielson at Dynasty 2024. After a decent reign, he entered into a program with MJF after The Devil turned heel once again. MJF won the International Championship after beating Will in a match that went over an hour on AEW Dynamite 250 but certainly didn’t do so cleanly.
He then rebranded the title into the American Championship, making it obvious that this feud was going to result in a match in London. Both Ospreay and MJF have gone head to head on recent Dynamite’s continuing to make this rivalry more personal. The two will have a rematch at the company’s biggest show, where they will look to steal the show once again.
Mariah May vs Toni Storm
London’s own Mariah May is set to take on former mentor Toni Storm for Storm’s AEW Women’s World Championship. This match became official after Mariah won the 2024 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, though it turned personal quickly. Instead of celebrating her title opportunity with her mentor, May decided to attack Toni at the end of that same Dynamite show.
She then cut multiple promos following that explaining how she was never friends with Toni and that she was only using her to get to the top, which she will do at All In 2024. Because the event is taking place at Wembley Stadium, it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see a new women’s champion be crowned.
Bryan Danielson: Title or Retirement?
The main event of AEW All In 2024 will see wrestling legend Bryan Danielson possibly have his last match ever. He is set to take on AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland in a title vs career match, which means that if Danielson loses the match he will have to retire from wrestling forever. Danielson won this opportunity after winning the 2024 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and defeating multiple top stars along the way.
That may very well be the outcome of this match as Bryan Danielson’s contract has expired and he is currently working as a free agent. However, he has also stated that this might not be it for his wrestling career, which means that he would have to defeat Swerve Strickland to continue competing in the sport.
Because it seems as if Bryan Danielson doesn’t want to completely hang up the boots, he will likely be taking the world championship off of Swerve Strickland. Despite being a 5-time world champion in WWE, this would be Danielson’s first-ever title he will hold in AEW, so it will be a memorable moment if he wins.
