AC Milan is one of the best clubs in the entire world, consistently dominating the Italian league and making a name for themselves in the Champions League. But, it was quite a surprise when one of the best wingers of the footballing world admitted he had a secret dream of joining this team. This comes just a few weeks after tons of controversy surrounding this player and his long-awaited big move from PSG to Real Madrid, the Spanish giants who consistently win the Champions League and La Liga with apparent ease.
Will the speedy winger eventually make a change from Real Madrid to AC Milan in the future? It looks that way. It was a strange statement to make from a player who has yet to even lace up his boots for Madrid and step foot on the home pitch.

It was quite big news in the soccer world when Mbappe, the speedy winger and French superstar, decided to finally leave his long-time club Paris Saint Germain and head to Real Madrid to expand his repertoire. It had been a long time coming, as many pundits, fans, and players said that he needed more of a challenge than the French Ligue 1.
But, he still got tons of stick and flack from French fans and PSG die-hards who are upset that he is leaving the club.
Even so, he stood by his decision and is moving to Real Madrid in the summer transfer window. Mbappe has made it known that he is fulfilling his long-time dream by going to the Spanish club and hopefully winning even more trophies with this star-studded team.
However, he did say that he eventually would love to play for AC Milan in the future. He has been an AC Milan fan for his entire life, cheering from the sidelines as a kid while he watched in Paris and dreamt of being a member of their squad as he got older.
And from the looks of things, you never really know where he might end up in a few seasons from now. Mbappe is hopeful that his career can work out the way he plans to.
‘You never know what can happen. When I was a kid, I was a fan of Milan. I always said that if I come one day to Italy, I’m going to play for AC Milan. I watch the Italian league, every game of Milan. I was in Paris. I’m going to have a new club now. I’m really happy with what I have now.’
Despite being happy about going to Real Madrid, he can still dream about potentially his last career move of retiring at AC Milan once he gets older and decides it’s time to hang up his boots.
Mbappe at Real Madrid
Real Madrid is in the Champions League final coming out this weekend against Borussia Dortmund. Real Madrid have only lost three times in the CL final – their last loss in the coveted final match was more than 40 years ago, so Dortmund will have a real test on their hands to try and lift the trophy.
This is exactly the type of environment that Mbappe wants coming into the Spanish side. He played for PSG for seven years, winning Ligue 1 multiple times, winning the 2018 World Cup with France, and scoring a hat trick in the 2022 WC Final that saw an unfortunate loss to Argentina. He is used to winning – and so is Real Madrid.
