Ohan Jr. is not taking it easy for his next fight and has put his neck on the line by agreeing to battle the unbeaten prospect Abdullah Mason (14-0, 12 KOs). The bout will be held in the Centre Videotron in Quebec City, Canada, during the Top Rank promotion.

There will be an eight-round bout in a 137-pound catchweight which will see Mike Ohan Jr. and Mason battle it out. This fight forms part of a show promoted by both Top Rank and Eye of the Tiger promotions, with the main event pitting Christian Mbilli against Sergiy Derevyanchenko. The much-anticipated fight will be live on ESPN+ at 8 p.m. ET.

Mike is always in the gym so when we got the call to take this fight on three weeks’ notice, it was no issue. The 30-year-old Mike Ohan Jr. is from Holbrook, Massachusetts, and, like his father, Mike “Bad Man” O’Han, who is also a retired boxer who engaged in sparring sessions with Ring Hall of Famer Marvelous Marvin Hagler. He was last active one year ago and during this fight, he took the victory by the unanimous decision of 8 rounds against Harry Gigliotti.
A southpaw with splendid punching capability, Abdullah Mason has received the attention of the public as one of the talented amateur boxers from Cleveland. Mason was only 20 years of age, and Mike Ohan Jr. had advanced exceedingly quickly through the ranks of the professional leagues.
