Leading up to the fight, the two fighters had a lot of trash-talking going on. It all began when Adesanya decided to come into the ring in UFC 290 and confront Du Plessis. But he went too far when he even lashed out at Du Plessis for having a ‘colonial mindset’. Such comments should not be a part of the sports, even in the trash-talking.
