Arsenal are in the hunt to sign one of the best wingers in the German Bundesliga in the off-season this summer. The summer transfer window has been characterized by tons of trades, purchases, and loans that have seen the biggest teams in Europe shake up their squads. Arsenal are now looking to purchase a mid-20’s Bayern Munich winger to increase their attacking capabilities and score more goals this season.
Arsenal in Talks with Bayern Munich
Arsenal are planning to sign Kingsley Coman on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga so he can help other attackers, like Saka, score more goals headed into next year. Arsenal had a fantastic last Premier League season, almost winning the PL trophy, but were kicked off by Manchester City in the last couple of games.
This year, they hope to regain their place on top and shock fans around the world with a huge upset. The Gunners came out of nowhere last year to give City and Pep Guardiola a run for their money, also knocking Liverpool out of the top two spots in the league.
Now, with Coman as one of their loan targets, they could potentially add another attacking threat to their ‘arsenal’ that would see them be even more dangerous. And it seems as if Bayern is on board, as they will potentially let Coman leave this summer for the English club. Coman himself is eager to go to the Gunners from Bayern, even though the German club was the to pof the table in the domestic league.

So, who is Kingsley Coman and would he help Arsenal? He is a 28-year-old French player who is a towering presence, standing at almost 6’ tall. He is a prolific winger who began his career at Senart-Moissy in France and then headed to PSG for 9 years to develop into the player he is today.
At Paris Saint Germain, he made three appearances for the seniors quad and 16 appearances for the Paris Saint Germain II team. His abilities and movement off the ball made him a target for Juventus in Serie A, where he then went on loan between 2015 and 2017. His prolific loan spell made Bayern permanently sign the player in 2017, where he has played ever since. He has gone on to make 155 appearances and scored 34 goals from the Bundesliga club.
Now, he might move to Arsenal to help them in their attacking final third. Arsenal face off against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their opening match in the 2024-2025 Premier League season. Let’s hope that they can get Coman and earn three points to kick off the new season with style.
