Greene made his debut with the Cincinnati Reds in 2022. This season has been the best of his career as illustrated by the aforementioned all-star game nod. Greene replaced Los Angeles Dodgers Tyler Glasnow in the all-star game as the Dodgers ace is currently sidelined with a back injury. Greene has a career record of 16-24 with an ERA of 4.13.
