Recently, Virat Kohli, i.e., the former Indian cricket captain, took a break, he was an always overworked man who had been to be with his family in London. Following a long Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season and a world T20 championship in the Caribbean, Kohli was relieved from playing competitive cricket.
This break enabled him to spend quality time on a fun day out with his actress wife, Anushka Sharma, and children, Akaay and Vamika.
A cricket fan page on X, which was once on Twitter, posted a video of Kohli and Anushka that showed them being spotted at a florist in London. Virat Kohli was there, in the story, he was with his beautiful wife, and their child, Akaay, was out for a jog.
This was the first time that the couple was seen in public with Akaay, who was snuggled comfortably in Virat’s arms; netizens also got a peek at the couple’s daughter, Vamika. This was described as the new talk of social media as fans reveled in seeing the family back together in a video.

Apart from their walk, Virat and Anushka also went to listen to a kirtan by singer Krishna Das at Union Chapel. Anushka accompanied Krishna Das during their spiritual trip, and she briefly posted a story on Instagram, which was a photograph of Krishna Das on the stage performing for the people.
The couple later blessed them with a second child, a baby boy, Akaay, on February 15th. This was a big plus for the couple. Then, Kohli pulled out of the Test series against England to be with Anushka for the birth of their son.

In the T20 World Cup 2024 final being played in Barbados, Kohli played a pivotal role, scoring a majestic 76 off 59 balls, helping India outclass South Africa. His performance earned him the Player of the Match award in the final, capping off a remarkable T20I career.
Kohli had intimated that the T20 World Cup was his last and that achievement was the goal the team wanted: “This was my last T20 World Cup, and this is exactly what we wanted to achieve,” he said after the final. After him, ex-skipper Rohit Sharma also announced his retirement from the format of T20Is.
Thus, along with Ravindra Jadeja, the three of them resigned to the bench to give the up-and-coming younger talent the shortest form of cricket.

Reflecting on his career and recent achievements, Kohli shared an emotional moment.
“This is an amazing game.” I was telling Rohit today when we went out to bat that one day you feel like you cannot get a single, and then you come out and things happen. God is great. I bow my head in gratitude. I am grateful that I was able to get the job done for the team when it mattered the most.
Kohli takes a break and goes home to enjoy the holidays and spend time with his loved ones, and cricket lovers look forward to his return in the latter part of the season.
His exclusion from the series against Sri Lanka can also be referred to as a transition period for the Indian cricket team, as some talented youngsters get a chance to be in the big league. Fans, on the other hand, have eagerly waited for the Indian captain to take the field with his raw energy and his splendid performance.
