When asked to recommend any category, she responded immediately with glee:
I would say Babar Azam; the way he represents us nationally is that he is the world’s number one batsman, which is an accomplishment for Pakistan as well.
Of this, she said something consistent with the admiration that she already has for Azam and the way that he represents Pakistan.
Yashma Gill Clears the Air on Cricketer Friendships
The host went a wee bit aggressive, asking the family, more so the daughter, questions about other female actresses such as Nawal Saeed and Momina Iqbal, who claimed that cricketers have been sending them messages. But, to the utter denial of such instances from Yashma Gill, it seemed like she hadn’t experienced any such ordeal.
“So, I did not get any messages from any cricketers either,” she said, eliminating the speculation of any such communication. Some truthful things people say to others or about each other in their interactions
Carrying forward the discussion, Fahad Ansari questioned if Yashma had ever had any friends, especially with cricket players. Her response was straightforward and honest: “Well, I can tell you this—I never met with any cricketer,” she said, and this stark honesty simply made the discussion bolder and more natural.
Openness to New Friendships
The discussion became a bit animated when Fahad proposed to Yshma whether she would like to be friends with Babar Azam. When asked about it, there was no doubt that Yashma would be willing to participate in the said program.
Concerning Babar Azam, she has no problem, and if it happens, she said with a smile on her face, ‘I have no issue with friendship with Babar Azam’. This statement has since attracted many people to the two, increasing the public’s interest in such a friendship.
